Software Workstations [4 Computers]

The software workstation environment incorporates four computer systems each using Microsoft Windows XP Professional Operating Systems.  The main computer has three DVI graphic adapters driving three 19” Sony LCD Monitors.  This provides an ideal development environment (eg. CodeWright editor on one monitor, a debugger screen on the second monitor and the third monitor displaying the running application).  

The remaining computer systems are connected to secondary input channels on the display monitors.  This allows any of the four computer systems to be assigned to a specific display monitor thereby allowing efficient testing of multi-system software applications.

A single keyboard and mouse are attached to each of the four computer systems via a KVM switch.

Work Bench:

1. Tektronix TDS360 Digital Oscilloscope.
2. Tektronix PS280 DC Power Supply.
3. Fluke 87 Multimeter.
4. Soldering Iron.
5. Antistatic mat.

Printers:

1. HP LaserJet 4050 Laser Printer.
2. HP OfficeJet 7131 Inkjet Printer (Scanner / Fax / Printer)
